Kizz Daniel has announced the upcoming release of a new EP titled ‘Uncle K,’ set to drop on November 29, 2024. This compact, four-track project will feature collaborations with Victony and Runtown, marking an exciting close to his year. The EP’s cover art, which showcases a classic pair of white Dunlop slippers with blue straps, is a nostalgic nod but leaves much to the imagination as there’s no explicit message conveyed behind this choice or direction.
Kizz Daniel shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, that this EP will be a fitting close to his active musical contributions for the next couple of years, as the singer-songwriter hints at taking a hiatus until 2026. He also revealed that, for the first time in his career, he has collaborated on songwriting with someone else—Runtown—stepping in to pen the track(s). And it’s possible that this collaboration brings a fresh perspective and potentially new stylistic influences to Kizz Daniel’s sound.
As Kizz Daniel gears up to take a break from the scene, this EP could be a memorable parting gift for his fans to savor over the coming years given his recent successes and consistent track record in delivering hits.
