50 Cent Bashes Joe Budden For Saying He Needs Therapy

50 Cent has become known for his trolling antics online, with Joe Budden recently opining that the Queens rapper may just need therapy after his controversial reaction to the death of Murder Inc. co-founder Irv Gotti. The Power producer, however, wasn’t too fond of the critique.

“Stay out my mix Joe talking about I need therapy,” 50 Cent reacted to a screenshot of Budden discussing the matter on his podcast. He went on to clown the New Jersey rep for his naked sleepwalking incident that went viral last month.

“B_itch you need to stop walking around naked. The f**k is you doing in the hallway with ya balls out PUNK!,” 50 added. He also shared a GIF of Budden during an old argument on the pod in a second post captioned, “They just told Joe what I said, yeah I mean what I said PUNK!” See the post below.

The clip in question finds the crew debating 50 Cent’s reaction to Gotti‘s death, as he posted a photo of himself smoking hookah with an “R.I.P.” placard next to him, captioning the post, “I’m smoking on dat Gotti pack. Nah God bless him LOL.”

Co-host Queenz Flip argued that Irv was associated with men who attempted to take 50 Cent’s life, and while many would disagree, for 50, this is a valid reason to keep the same contentious energy, even after Gotti’s passing. Budden then argued that there is “no record of Irv Gotti trying to kill 50 Cent,” regardless of what his associates may have done. He then dismissed the idea of using “Hip-Hop” as an excuse to violate others beyond reason.

“Y’all always mix it up, because ‘Hip-Hop’ is the new meaning for ‘I need therapy,’” Budden asserted. “Kanye West needs therapy. 50 Cent needs therapy. I don’t care if you agree with the rationale. And 50’s 50, he gon’ stand in it.”

Co-host Ice then argued that young rappers — particularly of the Chicago drill scene — have made the idea of “smoking on” a dead opp commonplace within Hip-Hop, and that reactions to 50 Cent are heightened due to the culture’s love of Irv Gotti, with Budden and fellow co-host Ish strongly disagreeing.
