50 Cent and Cam’ron have responded to Jim Jones‘ shots with trolling to rise above his remarks. Cam’ron issued his response first, uploading a new post to social media via the It Is What It Is Instagram. The post featured a mini video with a throwback picture of Cam and Ma$e soundtracked by Paul Engemann’s “Push It to the Limit” from the 1983 Scarface film.
“NO NEED TO DWELL ON THE PAST, WE HERE NOW, WE GONE ‘PUSH IT TO THE LIMIT’… #MURDA #KILLA “HARLEM” #ITISWHATITISTALK #NOBODYSAFE #WESAYWHATTHEF**KWEWANT,” Killah’s first post read.
Another post from It Is What It Is found Ma$e and Cam directly responding to Jim Jones’ claim that he “watched Ma$e sh*t on Cam.” The video found Killah and Murda laughing and reminiscing about the disses they aimed at each other throughout their careers. The duo specifically recalled how funny their diss tracks were, how it made them feel, and how Cam responded to Ma$e’s “The Oracle” in real-time.
“THERE IS NO BETTER FEELING WHEN YOU CAN LAUGH ABOUT DISSING EACH OTHER IN THE PAST,” the post’s caption read. “THIS WHAT HAPPINESS & GETTING A LOT OF MONEY TOGETHER LOOK LIKE ‘HARLEM.’”
Meanwhile, Curtis Jackson took another angle in his trolling, bringing up another old moment in Jim Jones’ history. 50 posted a photo of Jimmy attending the Roc Nation brunch in 2017 looking like, as a fan described Jones, “a groupie.”
An additional picture in the post recalled the “We Fly High” rapper being caught on a wiretap in 2019 asserting that Tekashi 6ix9ine needed to be “violated” during a phone call to Jamel “Mel Murda” Jones.
“He’s not a gang member no more. He was never a gang member. They going to have to violate shorty because shorty is on some bullsh*t,” Jones could be heard saying in the recording. 50 clowned on Jim for his role in both ordeals, captioning his post, “LOL ? INDIVIDUAL 1 calling the shots out here, I know you working so please don’t say gangster shit to me INDIVIDUAL 1!”
Jim Jones previously addressed Cam and 50 after Jackson recalled bringing out Jones at a G-Unit show while Curtis was beefing with Cam’ron. Jim declared that he was above whatever the two men were talking about, telling both rappers to “get off my d*ck!”
“Them ni**as be on my d*ck,” Capo remarked. “Them ni**as ain’t got nothing else to think about but Capo. I did a lot for them ni**as in their life, ya heard? Both of them. Pause, though. Get off my d*ck! It’s only space on there for baby girl. Come on, man. Tugging on my sh*t like that.”
“[Cam] couldn’t pull nothing together. He couldn’t do nothing with me. He couldn’t tell me nothing, ni**a,” he said, passionately. “Let’s not get this sh*t twisted. Nobody could tell me nothing. I was my own boss… I did what I wanted to do. I seen the sh*t wasn’t going right so I started doing what Jim Jones needed to do for Jim Jones ’cause the ni**a that was supposed to be the don wasn’t taking care of the Capo. It started feeling like the Gotti movie, ya heard?”
