Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson may play around on social media, but he’s all about business in the real world, hosting Planet Hollywood‘s grand opening in Times Square, New York City Tuesday (March 11) as a sponsor via his Branson Cognac.
Co-hosted by Alec and Hilaria Baldwin and Boy George, the foursome worked the room and the red carpet to make their guests feel welcome, guests including Whoopi Goldberg, Pete Davidson, Arnold Schwarzenegger and son Patrick, Mayor Eric Adams, and a slew of Real Housewives including Melissa Gorga, Dorinda Medley and Luann de Lesseps.
“Planet ? Hollywood NY was great last night, the vibes was right cool people all over the place,” 50 cent shared via Instagram after the shindig.
The space, located at 140 West 42nd Street, is the third iteration of Planet Hollywood to open in the city and consists of four floors. The Post reported back in 2022 that the first floor would feature a 100-seat outpost of Chicken Guy, a fast-casual collaboration between celebrity chef Guy Fieri and Planet Hollywood founder Robert Earl. The official Planet Hollywood eatery is located on floors two and three, with a seating capacity of 250.
