Foluke Daramola raises N700k for actress, Tope Osoba [VIDEO]

• Tope Osoba has heartily thanked Nigerians for their financial assistance to help get her on her feet following her breast cancer diagnosis and successful surgery.
• The actress who is currently in the hospital got a visit from Foluke Daramola who went bearing cash gifts from Nigerians.
• Foluke Daramola also thanked all who assisted in donating the money which she revealed is N700,000.

Nigerian movie actress, Foluke Daramola Salako has raised money for her colleague, Tope Osoba who recently disclosed that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Tope Osoba had in a video first shared by Foluke Daramola said she underwent breast cancer surgery but still needs money for post-surgery care.

Daramola as well as some of her colleagues like Alesh Sanni and Tawa Ajisefini appealed to well meaning Nigerians for financial assistance for Osoba.

In a fresh update, Foluke Daramola was at the hospital to give the ailing actress the money she got, asides from what Tope Osoba had received in her personal bank account.

Revealing the total amount as over N700,000, she gave Tope Osoba the money in cash and they both thanked all who donated to the cause.

Foluke Daramola captioned the video:

In other news, afrobeats star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has announced that he will be commemorating his 32nd birthday with a N300 million donation to orphanages.

The singer disclosed this via his X handle on Monday morning, November 18.

The DMW record label boss explained that the donation would be made to orphanages and a charity that fights against drug abuse among youths. The OBO crooner wrote:

“Once again, for my birthday this year, we are donating to orphanages and a charity that helps young people stay away from drug abuse & addiction. This year is N300m. Details to follow soon.”
