  • In a raw and revealing new interview, she didn’t hold back as she aired grievances against her ex-husband, shared the painful and unexpected path that led her to fame

Olajumoke Orisaguna, famously known as Olajumoke Onibread, has pulled back the curtain on her traumatic past, revealing a disturbing tale of domestic abuse that shadows her unexpected rise to fame.

The Nigerian model, who became a household name in 2016 after unknowingly walking into a photoshoot with British rapper Tinie Tempah—an iconic moment captured by photographer TY Bello—has now broken her silence on the dark side of her journey.

In a no-holds-barred interview with City FM, Olajumoke Onibread laid out the painful truth behind her sudden disappearance from the public eye. She spoke about the deeply toxic relationship she endured with her ex-husband, Sunday Orisaguna.

According to Olajumoke, they lived in Ire, Osun State, a place that became a battleground for her survival. She described their home as hostile and suffocating, claiming that her mother-in-law was a relentless source of emotional torment, and, worst of all, Sunday’s violent hands.

With raw vulnerability, she described nights of anguish and days of fear, locked in a place that offered no comfort and no escape.

Determined to escape the torment, Olajumoke said she made a bold move to Lagos, hoping to rewrite her story. It was in the bustling streets of the city that she began hawking breadas her only means of survival, and it was then that fate intervened.

But even as her luck changed, she claimed the shadow of her past followed her—Sunday relocated to Lagos, and according to Olajumoke, the abuse didn’t stop.

She confessed that shame and societal pressure held her back from publicly denouncing their marriage, said the presence of their two children kept her tied to a bond she was desperate to break.

After their bitter separation, Olajumoke claimed Sunday launched a campaign to destroy everything she had built, slandering her name and that of her supporters. She added that her career, which had been a beacon of hope, began to crumble under the weight of scandal and misrepresentation.
