Nicki Minaj and Ray J‘s latest Instagram Live session was equal parts hilarious and awkward.
The two stars have linked online before to dive into all sorts of random and hilarious conversations, but their latest chat on Tuesday (Nov. 26) left fans in gut-busting laughter.
When Minaj asked the R&B crooner to open up about his personal preferences when it comes to sex, Ray J made a bold revelation about “getting his groceries eaten.” The serial entrepreneur explained that when a woman is below his belt and just so happens to find herself near his derriere, he’s fine with it.
“I always get in the shower before I have sex, so my a** is always gonna be clean,” he asserted. Although honest, his response left the Pink Friday 2 icon visibly perplexed, asking “What are you talking about?”
The convo then took a presumptuously flirtatious turn when Ray J began showering Minaj with compliments.
At one point the “One Wish” singer told Minaj that her giving him the nick name “Rahjah” had “turned him up” amongst the ladies. He then began gushing about her, saying, “You’re just so magnetic, you magnetizing me to your energy and I love it. I love being on Live with you.”
In another part of their short conversation, Ray J admitted that he doesn’t know how to be attractive anymore since his split from Princess Love. And instead of offering him sympathy, Minaj jokingly agreed, “Ray J, you are ugly. But you don’t have to say that. You gotta learn to be confident in yourself,” leaving the comments in shambles.
Making things even more cringe, a wide-eyed Ray J began biting his lip on camera, prompting Minaj to issue a firm, “Don’t ever do that again, in your life.”
Despite her attempts to steer the conversation back on track, the singer kept piling on the awkward compliments and then apologizing for them. At one point the “Everybody” rapper warned Ray J that if he didn’t stop flirting with her, he would get an “ending” that he doesn’t want.
After calling the married mother-of-one “beautiful” for the umpteenth time, Minaj kept her word and hung up the call.
