In an ongoing war of words between two of Hip-Hop’s biggest names, Drake has taken a jab at Kendrick Lamar, issuing a sharp comment in response to Lamar’s latest album, GNX.

On Tuesday (Dec. 3), during a livestream broadcasted by Los Pollos TV, a prominent Drake supporter, the Canadian rapper made his presence felt in the comments section by taking aim at Lamar’s new work.

As Los Pollos TV compared GNX to Drake’s 2021 album, Certified Lover Boy, in an unfavorable manner, Drake popped up to give his own appraisal of the Compton native’s chart-topping effort.

“We need a donut emoji in the chat,” Drake wrote in response to Los Pollos TV’s critiques regarding Lamar’s recent release, indicating that the project wasn’t executed properly.

He followed up with a playful jab at Lamar’s signature shout on the song, “Mustard,” writing, “Custarrerddddd!”

The comment was promptly pinned at the top of the chat by Los Pollos TV, a clear show of support for Drake’s continued critique of Lamar’s music.

This latest salvo in the feud follows a string of back-and-forth comments and diss tracks exchanged between the two rap giants. While Kendrick Lamar has maintained a more reserved stance, focusing on his art, Drake has been more vocal in his criticisms.

Earlier this year, Drake also released his latest musical project, 100 Gigs, which included unreleased music with 21 Savage, Young Thug, and Latto.

Meanwhile, DJ Mustard, who had previously collaborated with Drake on 2014’s “Who Do You Love,” recently expressed his disinterest in working with the OVO founder again. In an interview, Mustard revealed, “I don’t think I want to make a song with that dude. [He’s] a strange guy.”

The ongoing beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar shows no signs of slowing down, with both artists continuing to throw subtle and not-so-subtle shots at each other in their music and public statements.
