Bow Wow and Le’Veon Bell have communicated after the former athlete called out the rapper on social media over who the biggest star was to come from their shared hometown of Columbus, Oh.

\According to Hot97, the argument began on Tuesday after the rapper proclaimed himself to be “the biggest to ever come from Columbus,” following The Ohio State University football team’s win over Notre Dame in the College Football National Championship (Jan. 21). Once Bell was made aware of the declaration, he responded with video clips.

“Someone help me understand how Lil Bow Wow can think he’s the biggest from Columbus, OH, and he has done NOTHING,” Bell claimed. “When I say NOTHING, I mean absolutely ZERO! The ONLY thing he can claim is buying box tickets to the Ohio State Nati, and all of a sudden he’s ‘the biggest’? Bro, so fried.”

Bell claimed Bow Wow to be a representative of Atlanta and targeted his music and acting career.

“Don’t talk about money, Bow Wow. Don’t do it. You had a nice little rap career, but that’s up in the air now. It’s gone. Record done. I’m probably a bigger rapper than you right now. And movies? What movies have you even been in lately?” shared the former Pittsburgh Steeler.

Bell also named other athletes from the Ohio capital city to make his point.

“You’re not bigger than Buster Douglas. That man knocked out Mike Tyson in his prime. You’re not on Simone Biles’ level either—her accolades speak for themselves.”

While Bow Wow did not respond to the videos on social media, it seems the two men have come together to support Columbus. The day following Bell’s first response, he shared a screenshot of them both on a FaceTime call with a hopeful caption.

“it’s crazy how far a little communication can go .. we all good, and big things coming soon,” wrote the 32-year-old.
