Onijah Robinson made waves across social media after she refused to leave Pakistan for months following a failed marriage attempt. Now, as she traveled from the South Asian country back to the United States, she has allegedly made a pitstop in another foreign nation.
According to The Independent, Robinson boarded a flight from Karachi on Friday (Feb. 8), being escorted to the airport by local police. A medical board had deemed the 33-year-old fit for travel and discharged her from its facilities. Her travel was arranged by the U.S. consulate staff in Karachi.
By Monday, however, clips of Robinson allegedly in Dubai began to appear across social media, indicating that the New Yorker did not complete her journey. A video shared online showed Robinson as she posed for selfies among a group of smiling men, per The Independent. Her travel was routed through Dubai, with the United Arab Emirates city being a layover.
So instead of taking the layover flight from Dubai back to NYC, Onija Robinson decided to just stay in Dubai for Season 2. I’m CTFUPPP ? pic.twitter.com/JIAKP5ksiH

Robinson’s journey began going viral after TikTok videos showcased her off-kilter press conferences in Pakistan. She initially made the trek overseas to marry 19-year-old Nidal Ahmed Memon, however, she was reportedly rejected by the young man and his family upon arrival.
“I’m asking for 100K or more. I need 20K by this week, in my pockets, in cash,” she exclaimed at the time. “That’s a demand to the government.”
She also ranted off plans to “rebuild” Pakistan, asking for “two thousand or more every week,” “more than five thousand dollars in USD,” and “I want 20K up front, 5K-10K to stay here every week, and I want those demands from the government right away.”
During her stay, she began making financial demands and expressed the desire to remain in Pakistan. A person claiming to be her son described Robinson as “mentally unstable” and having bipolar disorder, sharing that he had been encouraging her and working to have her return home.
