Rolling Loud is set to hold their Los Angeles festival this weekend (March 15-16) at Hollywood Park, and they’re kicking off the festivities with birdies and backswings. The Rolling Loud Golf Invitational, an exclusive charity golf event, is set to take place on March 13 at Angeles National Golf Club.

Presented by swang, the annual event has a history of blending music, sports, and philanthropy, often giving back to the communities it takes place in. This year, the Golf Invitational will donate proceeds to the Black Music Action Coalition’s (BMAC) Restore & Rebuild LA initiative, a program that provides immediate and direct relief to Altadena residents and small businesses impacted by the Los Angeles fires.

The thoughtful partnership considers how Angeles National Golf Club is located in the same mountain range as Pasadena and near Altadena, a historically Black neighborhood that was largely impacted by the devastating LA wildfires in January. Donations can also be made directly via the BMAC Restore & Rebuild LA fund here.

BMAC CEO & President, Prophet, stated, “The Black Music Action Coalition (BMAC) is proud of our steadfast partnership with Rolling Loud and our shared commitment to tangible outcomes in social and racial justice. Rolling Loud, as the biggest Hip-Hop festival in the world, is a template for successful business rooted in purpose. BMAC also commends swang for shining a light on our work to bring resources to the Altadena community impacted by the Eaton Fire. BMAC, Rolling Loud and swang are aligned in this mission, and we look forward to continuing to partner around meaningful initiatives.”

“Swang was started to create space for those who were never invited but always belonged; to reframe the game through culture for the ones who needed a different entry point to understand that the sport is for them, too,” added swang founder, Modi Oyewole. “Teaming up with the biggest Hip-Hop festival in the world, right here in Los Angeles, makes a statement: Golf’s next era is here, and it looks like us. With proceeds benefiting Altadena’s fire recovery efforts, this collaboration isn’t just about the future of golf—it’s about giving back to the communities that make it possible.”

Last year’s golf tournament took place on Dec. 12, 2024, in Miami. The star-studded event was hosted by Complex’s Speedy Morman and boasted attendees like Jadakiss, former basketball player Courtney Lee, pro surfer Evan Geiselman, rapper and record executive Uncle Luke Campbell, World Long Drive competitor Maurice Allen, Pouya, Fat Nick, Foreign Teck, and more.
