Auditions for Ye’s Sunday Service performances were announced on Instagram to hopeful singers looking to join the gospel performance. The male talent that make the cut, however, have another requirement beyond vocal skills.

According to details posted to the rapper formerly known as Kanye West‘s Instagram account, men who are afforded membership to the choir must shave their heads to perform. A shaved head is not required to audition.

“The audition location is in Los Angeles and will be given upon RSVP,” detailed the post. “Open auditions will be held on Thursday, March 13, at 4 PM. Auditions are open to ages five and up,” continued the post before adding a phone number for anyone interested in the opportunity.

Last weekend, the Chicago-bred musician announced his Sunday Service choir would return to performing next week on social media. According to Billboard, an Instagram story shared by the 47-year-old confirmed “Sunday Service Returns March 16 2025,” also sharing a conversation between Ye and choir director Jason White.

Shortly after the news was shared, the Grammy-winner took to Instagram to upload a photo of white robes similar to the garb worn by the Ku Klux Klan white supremacist group, writing in the caption “Outfit of the day.” The post has since been deleted.

Sunday Service was launched in 2019 and has hosted live streamed performances across the country. Ye also brought the spiritual performance art to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in the year of its debut.

Outside of Sunday Service, fans of Ye’s secular rhymes could also have new tunes soon. Earlier this week, Ye also revealed details of an upcoming album, in alignment with his pattern of offensive remarks and behavior.

“This next album got that antisemitic sound,” he detailed on social media in a now-deleted upload. The work, tentatively titled Bully, is described by the rapper as inspired by his son Saint’s behavior. Ye has also described the album as being his The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.

“IM NEVER APOLOGIZING FOR MY JEWISH COMMENTS,” ranted Ye last month. “I CAN SAY WHATEVER THE FK I WANNA SAY FOREVER. WHERES MY FKING APOLOGY FOR FREEZING MY ACCOUNTS, SUCK MY D**K, HOWS THAT FOR AN APOLOGY?”
