A$AP Relli has posted his first statement regarding A$AP Rocky‘s courtroom win, taking aim at those “gossiping.” On Thursday (Feb. 20), the former A$AP Mob associate uploaded a post to his Instagram Story, calling out those who had nothing to do with the Hollywood assault trial.

Relli asserted that these spectators are lowly with no other reason except to contribute to the grapevine, typing, “Gossiping is a form of entertainment for people who have no meaningful goals or purpose in life, hate me bring shame to my name, say bad things about me, I don’t care. Your existence doesn’t add any value in my life.”

Netizens were quick to jump on the post after it was shared on X, with many of them calling the entertainer “a rat” for taking the stand against his former bandmate. “Oh please, just shut yo snitching, cry baby a** up Relli,” one person stated. “ASAP Relli such a loser like woooooww, Snitched on ya hb n u still broke,” another account chimed in. “Asap relli went out horrendously in that courtroom,” someone else opined. “Ik asap relli sad as f**k bro can’t even snitch right I thought Rocky might be going to jail until relli got on that stand and showed the world he wasn’t only lying but that bro is actually dumb as f**k,” a subsequent opinion stated.

A$AP Rocky was facing a possible maximum of 24 years in prison if he was found guilty in the Hollywood gun assault case. However, Rocky was found not guilty on Tuesday (Feb. 18), with the charges being dismissed. “Thank y’all for saving my life. Thank y’all for making the right decision,” the Harlemite told the jurors as he made his way out of the courtroom.

The rapper’s attorney argued that Rocky wielded “a prop gun” in the altercation between himself and Relli and had no intention of harming the man. Although the jury didn’t believe this story, they acquitted the artist anyway.
