Nigerian actress Ashabi Simple has tearfully pleaded for divine intervention on behalf of her husband, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, following his recent legal battles.

Portable, a popular musician known for his bold personality and controversial actions, was recently declared wanted by the Nigerian police over allegations of assaulting officials from the Ogun State government.

Reports suggest that the incident occurred when government officials were on official assignment, during which Portable and his associates allegedly assaulted the officials.

As a result, all of Portable’s associates have been arrested, but the singer himself has been on the run, with the police now issuing a warrant for his arrest.

In response, Portable publicly begged the Ogun State government for forgiveness, urging Nigerians to intervene on his behalf.

Amid the ongoing controversy, one of Portable’s baby mamas, Ashabi Simple, took to her Instagram page to express her deep emotional distress.

In an emotional video, she can be seen crying as she prays fervently for her husband’s release, pleading with God for mercy.

“God, please show me your mercy. I can’t even help myself. I am so tired. Please help him for the sake of those he has been good to,” Ashabi Simple said tearfully in part.
