Ayra Starr hints at collaborations with Tems and Tyla

Nigerian music sensation Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, popularly known as Ayra Starr has hinted at possible collaborations with fellow stars Tems and Tyla.

During a red carpet interview at the 2025 MOBO Awards, Ayra Starr expressed enthusiasm about working with the two artists.

When asked about the possibility of a joint project, she responded affirmatively, saying, “Yes, of course, these are my girls.”

Her statement comes just two months after the trio was spotted together at a Lagos event during the festive Detty December celebrations.

Meanwhile, Ayra Starr made history at the 2025 MOBO Awards by becoming the first female artist in 16 years to win the Best African Music Act category.

In similar news, Nigerian singer, Ayra Starr, was the joint top winner at the 2025 MOBO Awards held at Newcastle’s Utilita Arena on Tuesday night.

The Mavin singer snagged two awards at the glitzy ceremony — Best African Music Act and Best International Act.

She beat stiff competition to win Best International Act, triumphing over music heavyweights Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, Kendrick Lamar, Megan Thee Stallion, Tems, Asake, and Tyla.

She also defeated Asake, Rema, Tems, Burna Boy and Tyla to win the Best African Act award, becoming the first female winner of the category in 16 years.
