Best doctors in America are Nigerians – Davido claims

Afrobeats singer Davido shares his thoughts on the significant contributions Africans are making in various sectors, including healthcare and entertainment.

During an appearance on Afric TV, he emphasized the importance of African talent and creativity.

Davido noted that many top doctors in the United States are Nigerians, highlighting the community’s achievements in the medical field.

He also pointed out that Africans are making waves in the global music industry, bringing fresh ideas and perspectives.

Davido also mentioned that Western filmmakers are now looking to Africa for inspiration, with Netflix and Amazon Prime sourcing movie ideas from the continent.

He expressed pride in the growth of African representation in global media, citing the increase in Nigerian movies on Netflix’s top 10 list.

He said;

The best doctors in America are Nigerians. You can search it. Even in my record label [Sony Music], Africans bring the best ideas. That shows that our imagination is off the grid.

“Netflix and Amazon Prime come to Africa to get movie ideas. Now, when you come on Netflix, you will see about two Nigerian movies in the top 10. Africa is next, trust me. I feel like we have everything but just missing a couple of things.”

Davido had in a recent interview, advised black Americans against relocating to Africa.

While speaking in a recent interview on the Big Homies House podcast, the DMW boss and “Unavailable” hitmaker addressed the thoughts of black Americans who are planning to relocate to Africa.

Davido urged them to banish such relocation thoughts and discontinue moves in that direction because the economy in Africa, particularly his home country, Nigeria is in a serious crisis at the moment.
