“Operation get @cecred at @ultabeauty is officially COMPLETE,” as Beyoncé‘s luxury haircare line Cécred has officially landed in Ulta Beauty stores nationwide. In celebration, Queen Bey held an all-white exclusive launch party in Los Angeles on Sunday (April 7) to commemorate Cécred’s expansion into more than 1,400 Ulta Beauty locations, both in-store and online.
Beyoncé floated into the event in a stunning monochromatic ensemble that confidently radiated “boss woman.” Her signature blonde tresses flowed elegantly past her shoulders as she donned a crisp white blazer dress layered over a collared blouse and a satin white tie. The look was finished off with a white coat draped over her shoulders, ankle-strap stilettos, and oversized sunglasses.
Per Cécred’s official website, the event included an experiential hair show hosted by Ms. Tina that featured Dr. Kari Williams (Cécred’s Director of Education), Michael Shaun Corby (Cécred’s Education Ambassador), and Antoine Martinez (Cécred’s Stylist), whom created beautiful hairstyles on models of the night. Additionally, the event treated guests to a sculptural showcase, customization station to create keepsake bags, a chrome photobooth, and signature Cécred hors d’oeuvres and Sir Davis cocktails.
According to an official press release, the debut of Cécred’s Foundation Collection at Ulta Beauty marks the largest exclusive haircare launch in the specialty retailer’s history — a major moment for both brands.
Cécred and Ulta are also taking the experience beyond the bottle with salon-level treatments designed to elevate every step of the haircare journey. Now, all 1,400 of “The Salon at Ulta Beauty” locations will offer customized Cécred services led by more than 7,000 stylists specially trained in the science and efficacy of the brand’s products.
Among the standout services offered is the Cécred Scalp Revival, a soothing treatment that gently exfoliates the scalp to remove buildup and flakes while restoring essential hydration. And for strength and bounce restoration, the Cécred Protein Bounceback Treatment which harnesses the brand’s Fermented Rice and Rose Protein Ritual to deliver three times more breakage resistance. Meanwhile, the Cécred Hydration and Repair Treatment promises to revive hair stressed by color, heat, chemicals, or extensions.
Perhaps the most exciting part of this partnership is the debut of Cécred Sundays, a recurring salon experience launching May 18 at 200 select Ulta Beauty locations. The special day is designed to offer restorative self-care rituals for all hair types and textures, with a complimentary mini Temple Oud candle with every booked service.
Tina Knowles, Cécred’s Vice Chairwoman and Beyoncé’s mother, reflected on the deeper meaning of the Ulta collaboration to People. “My roots as a professional started when I was a salon owner, so I know firsthand the power of delivering transformative hair care in the chair,” she shared. “We want to replicate that feeling in the aisle, and Ulta Beauty is the perfect partner to help bring this vision to life. With salons in every door, we’re excited to bring Cécred to more at-home rituals and Ulta Beauty salons across the country.”
The Cécred haircare line currently offers products including hydrating shampoos and conditioners, hair masks, hair tools, sealing lotions and nourishing oils, restroing hair and edge drops, plus much more.
