Beyoncé‘s Levi’s love affair is kicking into full gear as her Cowboy Carter tour debut inches closer. On Monday (Feb. 24), the iconic denim company unveiled part two of their campaign with the Houston legend. This time, Bey takes over a pool hall and shows off her sharp bank shot.
The new clip, titled Beyoncé – Chapter 02 “POOL HALL” LEVIIS JEANS, opens up with the “Crazy In Love” singer stepping into a local saloon. While she swiftly picks her opponent, viewers are able to admire her head-turning outfit: a jewel-encrusted Canadian tuxedo. Silver stones bedazzle the 35x Grammy winner’s chest and run along the sides of her legs, sparkling with every step.
The two trade shots back and forth as the game gets close. However, Bey takes the win after she sinks three solids in a row. Fittingly, her Cowboy Carter standout track “LEVII’S JEANS” serves as the soundtrack to the ad. Check out the clip below.
Per the Levi’s website, the partnership was inspired by Beyoncé’s “innovative approach to art, culture and storytelling” and will be unveiled in a series of chapters.
Additionally, the new campaign “reinterprets several of the Levi’s brand’s most iconic advertisements, bringing them into the modern era. The first film — inspired by ‘Launderette,’ the 1985 ad that famously reignited ‘I Heard It Through the Grapevine’ on the Billboard charts — places Beyoncé center stage and celebrates the Levi’s brand’s heritage as a canvas for self-expression, worn by changemakers and icons alike.”
The aforementioned Cowboy Carter tour is set to kick off his spring and will only stop in nine US cities. It begins in Los Angeles on April 28 and after a four-night run, it heads to Chicago for two nights. The trek then stops in New York and London for four nights each before closing out in Paris, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, and her hometown of Houston for two nights in each city. It will also stop in Las Vegas, but those dates haven’t been announced yet. More details are available on her website.
