Boosie Badazz celebrated the birth of his 9th child with his fiancée Rajel Nelson in an emotional video on Instagram. Recorded from a hospital room, the Baton Rouge rapper uncontrollably shed tears and laughter in the intense moment.
“I’m a daddy again, man. My daughter’s so beautiful,” he exclaimed in the clip shared on Tuesday night (April 22). “I can’t stop crying. Man, my daughter here.”
He continued to amplify his thoughts in the caption. “SO HAPPY TO BE A DAD AGAIN,” he wrote, followed by the red heart emoji. “GOD HAS BEEN SO GOOD TO ME [prayer hands emoji] BEST FEELING N THE [globe emoji].”
The 42-year-old musician first announced Nelson’s pregnancy in November 2024 while attending an Atlanta Hawks basketball game. In a joyous clip, he explained, “BABY OTW DANCE IM ABOUT TO BE A DADDY AGAIN.”
In a 2016 interview with VladTV, the “Crazy” performer admitted to wanting 10 children total.
“I got seven,” he confirmed. “I’m trying to make three more though. Yeah, I want 10 kids. I always told my grandmother I’ma have 10 kids. And I have some good sperm. If it drop on your arm, you’re pregnant…I’m three away. I want a pair of twins too… I think I’m gonna freeze my sperm, and when I find a girl I’m gonna make twins. I’m thinking about that, but I’m looking for somebody to put a baby in right now. I just want somebody who’s willing to be a good mother.”
Before Nelson gave birth, he had already plotted to have his 10th child.
“I’m going right back in there. I’m finna load her up,” he shared on Instagram Live earlier this week, per AllHipHop. “Yeah, I wanted a boy. I ain’t tripping; I’ma put another one in her right after that. Other people wait six weeks; I don’t wait six days. I ain’t waiting six days. I’m gone get that boy.”
