The internet has been busy debating about what white rappers are on the white rapper Mt. Rushmore, and the conversation found its way to It Is What It Is. Cam’ron and Ma$e listed their top three white rappers on a recent episode of the popular talk show.

The topic was prompted by their co-host, Treasure “Stat Baby” Wilson, and the dynamic duo did not disappoint. “Who’s the guy from Philly that’s signed to Jadakiss?” the former Bad Boy artist asked, referring to Millyz. “Eminem first, of course. And then you got MGK or Yelawolf. Who you think is better, Killa?”

The Dipset member replied, “I’ma go MGK ’cause he’s my man. No disrespect to Yelawolf, I just don’t know a lot of his music.” The “Feel So Good” rapper continued his list, giving his flowers to the Beastie Boys before realizing he had a glaring omission. “I forgot about Jack Harlow!” he exclaimed. “I gotta do my list over. Jack Harlow is definitely up there.”

Cam’ron was a bit more certain and organized when it came to his list. “Well, Eminem’s definitely number one for me,” he began. “And then you gotta think about people who pushed the culture forward for white rappers in a time where white rappers really wasn’t being accepted.” Next, he went with a group that often doesn’t come up when discussing talented white rappers.

“I’ma go with 3rd Bass as a group,” he added. “It’s not like they had Eminem lyrics and sh*t, but they had the Black community when it was really hard for a white person to excel in the Black community. People were like, ‘F**k outta here’ when Vanilla Ice came around.” Lastly, he paid homage to a blog era legend who passed away almost seven years ago. “My third pick is — God bless the dead — Mac Miller.”

Killa Cam wasn’t ready to add Jack Harlow to his top three yet, but did say he was “definitely up there” and could claim the fourth spot. As for The Beastie Boys, he admitted he wasn’t a big fan and viewed them more as a rock group than rap.

Machine Gun Kelly took to X and expressed his frustration at being left off the AI image of the white rapper Mt. Rushmore, which featured Eminem, Mac Miller, Paul Wall, and Russ. “Me not on the white rapper mt rushmore is blasphemy,” he said in a tweet. Though MGK recently pivoted his sound to more rock or alternative music, he has a proven and popular discography within rap. He even went toe-to-toe with Eminem on multiple occasions.
