Cam’ron has finally apologized to Chad Johnson—kind of.
On Tuesday (Feb. 4), Cam uploaded a new episode of Talk With Flee, looking to bring a supposed end to his feud with the former athlete. The Dipset leader confessed to going a bit too hard on Chad and, to that end, wanted to send out kind words to address his explosive rant.
“After I looked at it, I was like, ‘Yo, I did kind of go hard on Chad,’” Killa Cam admitted. “None of this is personal, first and foremost. I have no beef with Shannon Sharpe or Chad Ochocinco. I just wanted to say if I went a little bit hard, I apologize.”
As he continued, though, the Harlem, NY in Cam jumped out, with the Purple Haze artist throwing shade at the ex-NFL player. Cam asserted that Chad isn’t “the main attraction” of his show, so there isn’t a real comparison between It Is What It Is and Nightcap — especially since Killa is the star of his own program.
“You guys are doing a great job. I’m not hating on your show or whatever but I’m doing a spectacular job ni**a. I’m that n***a that’s why you mentioned my name in the first place,” Cam added. “You doing really good Chad I’m proud of you but you not the main attraction on your show. You’re the coleslaw that comes with the meal. You relish, you anchovies. Shannon Sharpe can do this without you, even though you’re a good addition.”
The Dipset emcee then compared Shannon and Chad to Batman and Robin, describing the latter as the sidekick in the Nightcap operation. Nonetheless, Cam’ron explained that he wasn’t looking to offend the 47-year-old, stating that he loves him but “I’m from Harlem, you know we gon snap on ni**as.”
