In addition to securing the second runner-up position, Chidimma was also crowned Miss Africa and Oceania, an achievement that has solidified her place in global beauty history.

In an exclusive interview with BBC, Chidimma reflected on her unexpected rise to the top of the pageant world.

Despite her international fame, the beauty queen admitted that she never imagined making it to the top 2.

According to her, she had already found peace in her heart with being in the top 30, and that was enough for her.

Chidimma went on to reveal that not many people understand the emotional and mental challenges she faced throughout the competition.

She candidly opened up on the toll the experience took on her well-being, explaining that she is still struggling mentally and is considering therapy to process her experiences.
