Chris Brown has released the official music video to his beloved 11:11 love song, “Residuals.”

Directed by Travis Colbert, the cinematic visual sees Breezy pouring his heart out to a sold-out stadium of fans—much like he did during his 2024 26-city tour. The video sees him singing the heartfelt lyrics in the recording booth, an alley way, and while cruising in a fast car until he ultimately crashes out.

The scenes lead to the ultimate one that sees Brown singing into a hanging microphone, wrapped with a red bandana, in the center of what appears to be a celestial stadium in the afterlife. There, he sees the love his life once more before she disappears forever.

“Residuals“—a popular fan favorite from his eleventh studio album and tour of the same name—hears Brown croon about having to grapple with the idea that someone else is receiving love from a person that was once his. The deeply reflective and emotionally charged song hears him reflect on faded memories—unclear if it’s based on a true story.

“Who’s getting all my love?/ Tell me who … Who’s getting all my time? All of that used to be mine/ Who did you teach what I taught ya?/ Better not give him my nickname/ I don’t like thinking about it, I swear that it’s wearing me down…” he yearns.

Elsewhere, he sings the heart-wretching lyrics: “Made it clear you didn’t wanna see the sequel/ I was lying when I said the feeling’s mutual/ It took some time to realize that we’re different people/ And love is blind, I see love is blind.”

“Residuals” peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Rhythmic chart and No. 2 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay charts and has even gone Gold in New Zealand. 11:11, which released on Nov. 11, 2023, topped Billboard’s R&B Albums chart at No. 1, moving 45,000 album-equivalent units in it’s first week.
