Coco Jones‘ next era is here. The R&B singer announced her debut album Why Not More and a supporting tour, both set for this spring.
The album led by the recently released single “Taste” is due on April 25, 2025, with the North American tour set to kick off the following month. Produced by Stargate and Jasper Harris, “Taste” is described as being about infatuation and attraction, and setting the tone for the remainder of the year. The fun song samples Brittany Spears’ 2003 track “Toxic” with an R&B spin.
“I’m so excited. My bucket list is coming into fruition,” shared the 27-year-old with the Recording Academy at the 2025 Grammy Awards of the album. “It’s been a really long process because I’m really strict with myself.”
At the ceremony, the former Disney star was nominated for R&B Performance of the Year and Best R&B Song for “Here We Go (Uh Oh),” which is the first track she released from the upcoming album.
She continued to describe, “I think my fans are in store for of course, what they love from me. Those ballads, those vocally challenging moments, but I’m really trying to push the narrative of R&B. I love to perform. I love high energy. I love choreo. I want a world where they can both coexist. And I feel like R&B, to me, can be so flexible, and that’s what Im trying to showcase and teach my audience.
Tickets for the Why Not More tour go on sale on Friday (Feb. 28th) at 10 a.m. local time on the official website. Check out the full tour schedule below.
