Sunday afternoon (March 2), Hollywood’s brightest stars braced brisk winds to celebrate the talent that brings the world’s greatest films to life. From actors and actresses to costume and set designers, the 2025 Oscars celebrate the creative geniuses that use their gifts to bring dynamic storytelling to the silver screen. To get to the 97th annual Academy Awards, celebrities graced the red carpet in perfectly tailored suits and eye-catching gowns.
Queen Latifah, Halle Berry, Colman Domingo, Coco Jones, Storm Reid, Keith Powers, and more are among the stars who put their best foot forward ahead of the broadcasted ceremony.
This year’s Oscar nominees include Domingo, who earned a nomination in the Best Actor category back-to-back and is the only actor nominated this year across all categories who was also in the running last year. Additionally, Cynthia Erivo earned her third career nomination for her performance in Wicked, which in total holds 10 nominations at the event. With a win, Erivo could earn a place in history, not only as the first Black woman to take home the trophy since Halle Berry in 2002, but as the youngest entertainer to achieve EGOT status.
The 2025 Oscars are broadcast live from the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood and will be televised live on ABC and streamed live on Hulu. Take a look at some of the stunning the red carpet looks below.
