One of Diddy‘s latest accusers has changed their story. After initially naming multiple celebrities as having witnessed their alleged assault, Joseph Manzaro has amended his lawsuit and removed JAY-Z and Beyoncé’s names.

Manzaro initially claimed that Hip-Hop’s royal couple was present at King Combs’ birthday party in 2015 and saw him being escorted around the party while wearing a mask with a penis on it. He also claimed that Queen Bey said, “Why is this half-naked white man with a c**k mask standing here in front of me?” However, according to TMZ, that is no longer part of the lawsuit.

Hov’s lawyer Alex Spiro, upon the lawsuit becoming public information, told TMZ, “Mr. Carter wasn’t in Florida at that time to witness this incident—he was engaged in easily findable public activities that prove he was not at this event. This is more nonsense that erodes the trust in our ‘justice’ system.” Additionally, TMZ reported that the Brooklyn rapper was in New York City for a presentation about Tidal on the date that the party took place.

Joseph Manzaro’s initial lawsuit also mentioned the claim that the party took place at a mansion owned by Emilio and Gloria Estefan. Gloria allegedly attempted to help Manzaro when she witnessed the humiliation he was enduring but was silenced by Emilio. He also claimed to have seen LeBron James walking around in a towel, who said, “Y’all better do something about that!” Emilio is still being sued for damages, along with Diddy, who allegedly orchestrated and participated in the assault.

This now marks the second time in as many months that JAY-Z has been dropped from a sexual misconduct lawsuit. In December 2024, he was added to one of the Bad Boy co-founder’s rape lawsuits for allegedly taking advantage of an unnamed girl in 2000 after the MTV Video Music Awards. Over the ensuing months, her story has been denied by the 4:44 rapper’s legal team and became inconsistent when told on public platforms. She eventually dismissed the father of three from the suit altogether.

As for Puff, he remains the primary legal target, amid his countless other lawsuits and pending trial in May. Recently, it was revealed that his ex-girlfriend Cassie would testify against him in court and use her real name, creating a full circle moment. She was the first domino to fall back in November 2023 when she sued her former partner for rape, assault, and trafficking, leading to countless other men and women coming forward with their own horror stories.
