In a recent social media post, the DJ expressed his frustration with being compared to fellow artist DJ Sliqe, stating that such comparisons only lead to unnecessary conflict. The rising DJ emphasized that while he appreciates the listeners who have supported him from the beginning, particularly those who have followed his journey since his Missing In Action days, he is also grateful for the newer fans who have recently discovered his music and embraced it.

In his statement, he firmly expressed that he is not here for the “2016 battles” and would prefer to focus on the present and future of his career. “Guys, please don’t let anyone compare me coz I’ll always lose. I am here for collaboration, not competition. I am here for people who have been listening to my music since Missing In Action& the ones who discovered my music recently& love it. You don’t like me don’t listen to my sh*t,” he wrote.

In his concluding remarks, DJ Clen reassured his fans that they can look forward to exciting things to come. “I’m not here to fight 2016 battles. You wanna focus on the past do that. Let me move on with my people. I’m on 2024 motion. The people who appreciate my efforts and the music I put out. I am here for them. And when it comes to albums. We gonna have a good time. That’s guaranteed,” he promised, leaving fans eager for the next chapter in his career.

The renowned DJ made his remarks after fans engaged in a debate comparing DJ Clen to DJ Sliqe. Many South African Hip Hop fans argued that Sliqe is far superior to Clen, highlighting the significant impact Sliqe has had on the culture over the years.
