Don Jazzy’s family house is falling apart

  • Deeone’s razor-sharp scrutiny of Verydarkman has now stretched to anyone remotely connected to the controversial figure, with music heavyweight Don Jazzy as his latest target.
  • After Don Jazzy proudly donated hundreds of millions to VDM’s charitable cause, Deeone alleges that his own family house stands in a state of neglect, allegedly crumbling under years of decay and deterioration.

BBNaija star and comedian Aderombi Adedayo Martin, known as Deeone, has thrown down a fierce gauntlet, dragging none other than Nigeria’s beloved music executive, Michael Collins Ajereh, aka Don Jazzy.

In a scathing tirade on Facebook, Deeone didn’t mince words as he took aim at the Mavin boss, accusing him of abandoning his own roots while splashing millions on public charity.

Recently, Don Jazzy melted hearts across Nigeria as he made a colossal donation to Verydarkman’s NGO, a project that promises educational support for underprivileged children. Not stopping there, he even transferred a personal cash directly to the activist’s private account, further solidified his reputation as one of Nigeria’s most generous public figures.

However, Deeone didn’t see it as a cause for celebration. Instead, he saw it as an opening for an overdue critique. Taking to his Facebook page, Deeone lambasted Don Jazzy’s philanthropic efforts, alleging that while the music mogul showers millions on public causes, his own family home remains in disrepair.

To drive his point home, Deeone even shared a video purportedly showing Don Jazzy’s alleged family house—a building he claims has been left neglected and abandoned, standing as a haunting symbol of the superstar’s detachment from his roots.

According to the comedian, he respects charity work but insists that Don Jazzy’s millions would be better spent starting from within, as he believes “charity begins at home.”

In a pointed comment, Deeone argued that a fraction of Don Jazzy’s N100 million donation could have gone toward refurbishing the alleged family house.

He envisions it as more than just a renovation—it could be a source of inspiration for young entertainers who walk by, a symbol of pride for an industry icon who hasn’t forgotten where he comes from.

Deeone broadened his critique to other celebrities, accusing the entertainment industry of a widespread “neglect of family,” where the thirst for public praise eclipses private responsibilities.
