  • Verydarkman, never one to mince words, took direct aim at the EFCC boss in a searing video that left no room for misinterpretation.
  • With a raw intensity, he slammed the commission’s leadership, demanding answers for their glaring failure to capture a politician who has been publicly declared wanted for months.

Social media firebrand Martins Ortse, widely known as VeryDarkMan, slammed the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Chairman, Ola Olukoyede as “incompetent,” took him to task over his perceived failures.

His critique was centered around the agency’s stunning inability to arrest former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, despite declaring him wanted in April—a staggering delay that, in VeryDarkMan’s words, speaks volumes about the leadership’s effectiveness.

VeryDarkMan, in a video post on Instagram on Monday, said:

“Ola Olukoyede is a symbol of incompetence, mediocrity and I call him a clown.

“Why did I call him a clown? On April 18 he posted that Yahaya Bello is wanted by the EFCC. On the same day he posted that ‘N80.2bn money laundering, Bello’s absence stalls arraignment

“Since April EFCC posted that Yahaya Bello was wanted, it has been story upon story. Within all these, EFCC has been able to arraign over 100 people. The money from all these people is not up to N120 million unlike Bello.

“@officialefcc the clowns of all agencies tell your Chairman he is a big clown. The only grace you have is the fact that the youths are always carried away.

“Your office shouldn’t be existing again, arresting young boys everyday and neglecting the real fraudsters.”

The EFCC had launched a series of high-stakes charges against former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, accused him of orchestrating a massive N80.2 billion money laundering scheme during his time in office.

The case, which has sent shockwaves through the political landscape, centers on allegations that Bello funneled vast sums of public funds through complex financial channels, allegedly used his position as governor to orchestrate a web of corruption that siphoned off billions.
