Floyd Mayweather Jr. has some strong sentiments about Donald Trump.
From one billionaire to another, the former boxer has labeled the current president the “best [one] we ever had.”
Mayweather appeared on FOX Business Network’s Making Money with Charles Payne and expressed, “Well, the world— I mean, in America, we’re never happy. At least I’m happy, but we’re never happy. When we had Trump before, we didn’t appreciate him. But I think Trump is a great president, one of the— actually he’s the best president. In my eyes, he’s the best president we ever had.”
The 48-year-old explained, “Great business, great businessman, and that’s what it’s about. Trump has done an amazing job and a lot of people around America are upset. But no matter who goes in the White House, we’re always upset.”
Mayweather believes that Trump is “the man for the job,” and reiterated that “he’s the best president in my eyes.”
50 Cent reignited his beef with Mayweather following his stance on Trump and resurfaced claims about the boxer’s alleged illiteracy.
In a since-deleted post, Fif wrote, “LOL YO you know how, when you’re in school and a kid eats the crayons. Now you see what happens when they grow up. Spell BEST PRESIDENT champ! LOL.”
Almost a year ago to-date, the Queens native threw jabs at Mayweather while promoting his book, The Accomplice. “I have no beef with anyone,” Fif shared before adding, “I even made sure the audiobook comes out at the same time so champ won’t feel left out.”
The men have been at odds for well over a decade.
