The Kansas City Chiefs weren’t the only ones who took a loss with their Super Bowl LIX defeat at the hands of newly-crowned champions, the Philadelphia Eagles.

Rap star GloRilla took a sizable hit to her bank account after betting on the Chiefs to win the matchup and become the first team to win three consecutive Super Bowls in NFL history.

On Sunday evening (Feb. 9), GloRilla took to social media and revealed that she lost $128,000 by placing a wager on the Chiefs to beat the Eagles, who blew out the reigning champions 40-22 in one of the more lopsided Super Bowl matchups in recent memory.

God… I just lost a lot of money on this game,” the 25-year-old said, visibly disappointed that her bet proved unsuccessful.

“I lost $128,000 on this game,” she added, before adding levity to the situation with her raw humor. “Umm, if anybody looking for a**, I got it for sale,” GloRilla quipped before ending the brief Instagram Story.

An avid sports enthusiast, GloRilla has expressed her fandom of the NFL on numerous occasions, particularly for the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Memphis native’s favorite football team.

In 2023, the Glorious creator met Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, whom she’s a big fan of and was visibily excited to cross paths with during her visit to Pittsburgh.

She would attend the Steelers’ training camp the following year, where she was spotted with fellow music star Ciara, wife of Pittsburgh Steelers starting quarterback Russell Wilson.

GloRilla isn’t the only music star ro have lost huge sums of money from sportsbetting in recent years.

In 2022, Drake reportedly lost $2 million after UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya was defeated by Alex Pereira during UFC 281 that year. More recently, the rapper lost $355,000 due to Mike Tyson losing to YouTube star Jake Paul during their mega-bout in 2024.
