Ibrahim Chatta, the acclaimed Nigerian actor, recently shared his profound insights on the concept of true influence while reflecting on the roles of Afrobeats superstar Davido and his billionaire father, Adedeji Adeleke.

In a candid new TikTok video alongside his mentees, including content creator King of Prank and his crew, Chatta offered a rich perspective on the importance of respecting those who possess not just wealth, but real power—the kind that shapes societies, cultures, and minds.

Chatta spoke at length about the vital role influence plays in today’s world, underscoring how the ability to impact lives and create lasting change transcends all material possessions.

Reflecting on his own experiences, Chatta shared a striking observation from a moment he spent with Davido. He noted how the artist, despite his superstar status, was surrounded by a devoted and protective circle of individuals—many of whom had been touched by his influence in ways that went far beyond his music.

Turning to the Adeleke family, Chatta acknowledged the immense wealth of Adedeji Adeleke, but made it clear that when it comes to global fame, relevance, Davido stands as the more influential figure because he connects more to the people through his music and global status.
