Ini Edo Grieves Over The Death Of Close Friend

  • Ini Edo shared her sadness remembering how her friend had gathered help for her father’s funeral just a few weeks ago.

Nigerian actress Ini Edo has been dealt a devastating blow with the passing of her close friend, Egy.

This news comes shortly after the actress bid farewell to her father.

Ini Edo took to Instagram to share her grief and shock over the sudden loss. She recalled how Egy had rallied support for her father’s funeral just a few weeks prior.

She wrote: “I still cannot believe that truly. I am typing this. Just a few weeks ago, you were rallying friends for my father’s funeral. Only to wake up and hear you are gone. Egy, this one pain me ooooooooooo. Rest in the bosom of God my dear friend. I have lost one of the few real friends I’ve ever had. They say, when it rains, it pours hmmmmmmmm”.

In another news, Ini Edo opens up on fertility issues, surrogacy and daughter’s paternity.

Ini Edo made this disclosure on the new season of the reality show, Young Famous & African with her co-stars.

During the show, the actress was questioned about her marriage, her daughter’s paternity and why she opted for surrogacy.

According to her, she had issues carrying pregnancies for long-term hence her decision to opt for surrogacy.

Ini Edo also revealed that her child’s father is alive but isn’t involved in their life and it’s just herself and her 3year old daughter.

Are you married?” Nadia asked.

I’m not married,” Ini replied

Are you together with the dad?” Nadia questioned.

No I’m not,” Ini said.

Is he still alive?” 

“Well, I don’t know,” Ini replied to Nadia.

Girl, is he dead or not? It’s a yes or no question,” Nadia insisted.

He’s not dead. He doesn’t have anything to do with us. We’re just two people. Just me and my child.”
