After the Hennessy Arena hosted its 2×2 women’s basketball tournament earlier in the day, it kept the spirit alive with an invite-only after-party. Returning guests to the San Francisco City Hall last Saturday night (Feb. 15), the affair transformed the government building into a center for culture and cocktails with sneaker displays, artwork, and more. The guest list of athletes, celebrities, artists, and creators included DiJonai Carrington and Arike Ogonbowale, who won the daytime exhibition, as well as Allen Iverson, Rome Flynn, and more.
Hennessy cocktails featuring reimagined classics like the Paloma, Mojito, and Margarita with a signature Hennessy twist. A special bar allowed guests to select their flavorings for the freshly shaken Hennyrita, including an assortment of gourmet salts.
Entering the massive venue, guests were able to vibe out to R&B music in one section or turn up with Hip-Hop, Afrobeats, and more in another with music provided by DJ sets from Flygerian, Amen, Shabazz, Steph Floss, and Aye Boogie. The after-hours soirée lasted through early morning hours with guests, mingling, dancing, and snapping photos all night long.
