Jalen Hurts added two more rings to his collection this year. The NFL quarterback not only led the Philadelphia Eagles to victory in Super Bowl LIX, but he and his longtime girlfriend also tied the knot. Men’s Health latest cover star confirmed to journalist and author Clover Hope that his significant other, Bry Burrows, is now his wife.
“You can call her my wife,” shared the star athlete as he arrived to his interview carrying a pink Post-it note. As detailed by the magazine, the heartwarming message penned by Mrs. Hurts read, “You are exactly where you are supposed to be. I love you. Follow God! I follow you.”
The couple revealed their engagement exclusively to ESSENCE Magazine in September 2024. Hurts and Burrows met while they were both students at the University of Alabama. According to the outlet, they dated on and off since undergrad before going public with their relationship in 2023.

“I knew a long time ago,” elaborated Hurts about Burrows to ESSENCE in 2023. “I mean, to this point in my life, that’s an irreplaceable feeling. I think that’s what allowed us to get to where we are now.”
That same year, Hurts signed a five-year, $255 million contract extension with the Eagles, which made him one of the highest-paid players in NFL history.
Still, he told Men’s Health he had “no” desire to be the face of the league, despite being the Super Bowl MVP. “You hear people talk about Doug Williams, Warren Moon, and Randall Cunningham and their tenures quarterbacking in the NFL, and those are all opportunities to learn from. It’s history,” he elaborated.
