  • James Brown has in an Instagram video responded to claims of being financially incapacitated and homeless.
  • The claims surfaced after controversial blogger Tosin Silverdam alleged that the crossdresser is struggling to stay afloat and had moved his belongings to friends’ houses.
  • Seemingly confirming the reports, James Brown also revealed that he has quit crossdressing for now.

Popular content creator James Brown has admitted that he is in need of financial assistance to continue his education in the United Kingdom.

Addressing rumours about his financial struggles, Brown took to Instagram to clarify his situation. While denying that he is broke, he revealed that he is actively saving up for his studies.

The social media personality disclosed that he has saved approximately N30 million but requires N50 million to cover his tuition and expenses. James Brown said in the video:

“Many people have been asking if it’s true I needed help. I actually do. I need all the adverts and promotions right now. In short, I have turned into a boy now because I am trying to gather money and go back to school. I need N50 million, my savings is around N30 million. I called one or two friends about it, and they just went out of their minds and wrote all kinds of things.”

Brown’s admission follows earlier claims by blogger Tosin Silverdam, who alleged that the influencer was struggling financially and had moved his belongings to friends’ houses.

In other news, TikToker, Peller has publicly apologised for referring to Nigerian Afrobeats star, Runtown as an “up-and-coming artist.”

Recall that during a recent livestream, Peller rejected a co-streamer’s suggestion of featuring Runtown in his livestream, insinuating that he was unknown and unsuccessful.

His myopic view on the Afrobeats maestro earned him heavy backlash across social media.

He has now bowed to pressure and tendered a public apology, admitting that he knew who the singer was.

Peller explained that he was “too young” to use a phone when the singer’s songs were topping charts.
