Joe Rogan Reveals He Was Not Texting Kanye West About Interview

It seemed like Ye was on the brink of an internet-breaking interview with Joe Rogan on his popular podcast, but there was one important detail missing from that equation. The 57-year-old media personality revealed that whoever the Chicago producer was texting about the show was not him.

The artist formerly known as Kanye West shared screenshots in a now-deleted tweet of a conversation that appeared to be with Rogan. Per the first part of “Rogan’s” reply, the 47-year-old had sent him a picture of his studio, perhaps to serve as the recording place for their episode. “I would love to sit down and speak with you but I am honestly a bit uncomfortable with your latest tweets,” the respondent wrote. “Is there a way we can clear the air on some of this when we sit down?”

The Vultures artist replied, “I’m happy to know that the tweets make you uncomfortable They are working […] As you said ‘I’m off the reservation’ AKA Off the plantation.” Unfortunately for the 24-time Grammy winner, the former Fear Factor host was quick to call his bluff. “Hey @kanyewest, I don’t know who you’re talking to, but that’s not me,” he wrote on X.

Ye's texts with someone impersonating Joe Rogan

Ye is no stranger to Joe Rogan or his long-running podcast. In October 2022, the “Carnival” rapper appeared on the Joe Rogan Experience to discuss his candidacy for President of the United States, among other things. Had he been texting the real Rogan, this interview likely would have been even more viral, given his antics over the last few months.

Since returning to X, the father of four has declared himself a Nazi, doubled down on his love for Hitler, called out the NFL for allowing Kendrick Lamar to perform at Super Bowl LIX despite his assault allegations while Diddy is behind bars for similar accusations, and told Drake that he loved him and his jealousy caused his behavior over the years. He also debuted new merchandise featuring a swastika. All of these tweets have been deleted.

Ty Dolla $ign, West’s close collaborator who worked with him on Vultures 1 and Vultures 2 over the last year, publicly denounced his harmful language against Jewish people. West also had a controversial appearance at the Grammys in February when his wife, Bianca Censori, walked the red carpet with him and wore a very revealing outfit. Amber Rose, his ex-girlfriend, stated that this was par for the course as the former Adidas designer wants “all his friends to wanna f**k his girlfriend” and be “the most desirable in the room.” Watch her explanation below.
