Justin Bieber shared a screenshot of his failed attempt to contact a musical legend. On Wednesday (April 9), the pop star took to Instagram to share an attempted FaceTime call to Stevie Wonder. In the post, shared to his Stories, Bieber jokingly retorted, “This fool never sees my facetimessss.”
Soundtracked, of course, by Stevie Wonder’s “Overjoyed”, the 31-year-old smiled into the camera, waiting for the 25 time Grammy award winner to pick up the video chat.

In the past, other celebrities have discussed their experience using iPhone’s FaceTime feature to have conversations with the music icon, who has been blind since he was six weeks old. Last year, during a live interview with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN for a live taping of Drink Champs, Snoop Dogg explained, “On everything I love, Stevie Wonder does FaceTime me,” according to Complex.
“I can’t make this sh*t up. I was in there chilling, getting my hair done… and my hairstylist is like, ‘Did that say Stevie Wonder?’ I said, yep. I went boop and he was like, ’Ni**a, I’ve been looking for you.’”
In 2022, Michael Jackson’s son Prince Jackson assured PEOPLE Magazine that Stevie Wonder had FaceTimed him on his late father’s birthday.
“And I don’t know if I’m supposed to tell you this, but I’m gonna tell it to you because it was impressive to me,” he boasted. I got a FaceTime call from Stevie Wonder, who wanted to just talk about how great my dad was. And that was a really awesome, awesome experience. Yeah, oh my God. It was nuts. It was nuts.”
