Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has transferred his unhinged X/Twitter rants to his latest interview with DJ Akademiks. The internet personality showed off the conversation over the weekend on Rumble, where he broke down various aspects of the controversial conversation. At one point during the interview, Ak asked Ye about his disparaging remarks regarding Virgil Abloh, which he has made consistently since the fashion mind passed away in November 2021.
After a long-winded question, West, now wearing a Black KKK outfit, bluntly revealed his reasoning for the attacks, declaring, “I’m evil.” After an awkward silence, West, 47, didn’t elaborate on his answer, and the two men went to the next question.
Amid Ye’s fiery rant on Tuesday (Mar. 18), the combative figure brought up his “friend” and claimed that he, along with other people like Travis Scott, Kid Cudi and Pusha T, “TURNED THEY BACK WHEN I SPOKE THE TRUTH. THE JEWS PUNKED YALL OH AND THE FRENCH.”
Before that, Yeezy dissed Virgil in February, calling him out alongside Drake in yet another X/Twitter rant. The now-deleted messages disregarded their storied friendship with the Yeezus artist, calling him “fake cool.”
“I LOVE TRAV VIRGIL AND DRAKE DRAKE THE REALEST ONE OF THOSE THREE THOUGH HE NOT FAKE COOL HE’S JUST TALENTED AF,” he typed. “ AND YES ITS F**K VIRGIL AND ANY OF THESE OTHER NI**AS THAT WORKED FOR ME THAN USED ME THEN WENT AGAINST ME I LOVE VIRGIL AND HE USED THAT VERY LOVE TO BEAT NIGERIANS ARE SUPER SMART.”
And if that wasn’t enough, Yeezy previously declared that Bernard Arnault, CEO of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, was behind his “friend” dying. The entertainer disregarded the fact that Virgil had passed away after battling cardiac angiosarcoma, an aggressive and rare form of cancer.
“SPANK MY HAND WITH THE RULER(S) I’LL GO SIT IN THE “PRINCIPAL(S)” OFFICE CAN’T WE TALK ABOUT MORE IMPORTANT THINGS LIKE HOW LATE THE SHOW WAS OR HOW BERNARD ARNAULT KILLED MY BEST FRIEND EVERYONE’S GOT A RIGHT TO AN OPINION RIGHT THERE’S MINE,” West typed on Instagram at the time.
