Keke Palmer pivoted from Jonathan Majors to Kash Doll after she received backlash to featuring the actor on her podcast. According to Buzzfeed, the episode was initially set to release on Tuesday (April 8) and was titled “No Easy Answers: Accountability and Moving Forward with Jonathan Majors.”
The official description reads as follows:
“Accountability. It’s a loaded word, right? We’re living in a time where we want real accountability—especially for things men have gotten away with for far too long. At the same time, finding forgiveness feels harder than ever, and we’re still figuring out what true accountability even looks like. Today, we’re sitting down with Jonathan Majors to talk about what life has looked like after being convicted of harassment and assault. This conversation isn’t here to give you all the answers—it’s complicated, it’s messy—but hopefully, it brings us a little closer to understanding the complex emotional landscape of the time we’re living through.”

As the news spread across social media, many fans expressed disappointment in the 31-year-old for allowing Majors on her platform. The former Marvel actor was convicted of assault and harassment for attacking his ex-girlfriend in a car in December 2023. Earlier this year, audio was released from 2022, where Majors admitted to having strangled his partner at the time.
The One Of Them Days star did not respond to criticism; however, subscribers to the podcast were treated to a new episode titled “Keepin’ It Chalant with Kash Doll.”
According to one user on X, the Jonathan Majors episode was available on the paywalled Wondery+ page for a week before being removed unnanounced. The social media account also shared “cliff notes” from a person who allegedly listened to the conversation.
The bullet points noted a discussion about his marriage to actress Meagan Good, the aforementioned guilty verdict, parenting, and child sexual abuse. Ultimately, the note-taker described the dialogue as “word salad” and recalled his recent appearance on the Sherri Shepherd Show.

A snippet of the episode was also shared by the X account, who wrote, “This is so embarrassing.”
In the clip, the two actors play “This Or That” where Majors is prompted to choose between things including “emotional vulnerability or unshakeable mystery,” “fall in love slow or fall in love loud,” and “owning the past” over “rewriting the future.”
