Drake seemed down over these last few months, but made it clear he wasn’t out with several jabs thrown at his opponents during a live stream with xQc. Kendrick Lamar reportedly shared a reaction to the 38-year-old rapper’s comments.
Reli, a PgLang affiliate, shared text messages with K. Dot where he informed him of the Toronto superstar’s livestream this past weekend. “You done turned blood into a streamer on Phillies,” he wrote with laughing emojis, to which Lamar replied with his own set of laughing emojis.
Reli wrote “That’s a damn shame,” and the Compton rapper asked, “He trippin??!” The final message available to be seen showed Reli saying “Blood don’t won’t [sic] no smoke Philly gang.” He blacked out the rest of the text messages.
What was Drake doing with xQc that had people reacting? Well, he first gave fans an update on how he feels following the most trying few months of his career. “I’m here — mind, body and soul fully intact, in case you were wondering,” he stated. “You need facts to take me out; fairytales won’t do it.” Many believe this was a reference to Kendrick Lamar supposedly lying him him having a secret daughter and being a pedophile throughout their feud earlier this year.
The “Family Matters” rapper had smoke for other artists, too. xQc played “Starboy” by The Weeknd and Drizzy told him to turn the song off, highlighting the fact that he was a “real 6ixer” and his belief that Weeknd falsely claimed where he came from.
He also called Steve Lacy a “fragile opp” while “Bad Habit” played, though he did acknowledge he enjoyed the song. This was a result of Lacy appearing at Kendrick Lamar’s The Pop Out concert this past June, an event that has turned anyone who was onstage into the subject of Drizzy’s ire.
