Clipse is steadily gearing up to unleash their next album Let God Sort ‘Em Out. The duo consisting of No Malice and Pusha T confirmed the album will be complete after they receive one special feature, and netizens are convinced the mystery guest is Kendrick Lamar.

“I’m so excited about this new Clipse album. Like that’s what I’m on right now,” Pusha said during an interview with Ghetto Runways last month. “It’s absolutely finished, just waiting on a feature. Just waiting on a feature, bro. Just waiting on a feature.”

Rumors started swirling about the Compton native joining the duo because the information was seemingly confirmed via a copyright strike. A TikTok user claims his video was muted on behalf of UMG because it contained a song named “Chains & Whips” by Clipse featuring Kendrick Lamar.

The “Chains & Whips” track included in the clip was originally played at a Louis Vuitton fashion show last year. Both Pusha and No Malice also walked in the show. Other users on X have claimed their videos from the LV show were being taken down on YouTube because of the same UMG copyright notice.

VIBE has reached out to Pusha’s team for a comment about the rumored collaboration with Kendrick Lamar.

If true, this pairing would be especially enticing considering Kendrick Lamar and Pusha T share a mutual foe: Drake. The former went head-to-head with the Toronto star in Spring/Summer 2024, a battle that spawned cuts like “Family Matters,” “Push Ups,” “Not Like Us,” and “Euphoria.” The latter emcee beefed with Drizzy in 2018 and infamously exposed Drake for having a son, Adonis, that fans didn’t know about at the time.

K. Dot feature included or not, Pusha is very confident about his upcoming project, which is entirely produced by Pharrell. “I think we’re doing something very, very special with like even being in the game and being as competitive as we are today and showing people that like fundamentals, the fundamentals of Hip Hop and lyricism, and like being fresh, none of that ages out,” he explained elsewhere in the aforementioned Ghetto Runways interview.
