Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s powerhouse collaboration “Luther” continues to dominate the charts, remaining atop the Billboard Hot 100 for the fourth consecutive week.
The duet, a tribute to the legendary Luther Vandross, has proven to be a massive hit, becoming Lamar’s sixth No. 1 single and SZA’s third. For Lamar, “Luther” extends his already impressive Hot 100 record.
His previous reigns atop the chart have been nonconsecutive, with notable hits like “Not Like Us,” which he ruled with for three weeks between last May and February, and “Like That” (with Future and Metro Boomin), which spent three weeks at No. 1 last April.

Other hits, such as “Squabble Up” (November 2024), “HUMBLE.” (2017), and “Bad Blood” (2015), have each enjoyed brief but notable runs at the top, with “Luther” now marking his longest stretch. SZA, on the other hand, continues to build upon her chart dominance, extending her longest No. 1 run.
While she had previously topped the chart with “Slime You Out” (alongside Drake) and her own smash hit “Kill Bill,” both of which topped the chart for one week, “Luther” now serves as her first extended reign, reaching its fourth week at No. 1.

In addition to its success on the Hot 100, “Luther” is experiencing a surge across multiple other Billboard charts. The song adds a fourth week at No. 1 on the Streaming Songs chart and climbs to No. 2 on the Radio Songs chart, achieving a new high.
However, it dips slightly on the Digital Song Sales chart, falling from No. 4 to No. 17 after reaching its peak position. Despite the drop, the GNX track’s longevity across multiple platforms is undeniable, showcasing its broad appeal.
“Luther” is also enjoying success on niche airplay charts. The song holds steady at No. 1 on both the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay and Adult R&B Airplay charts for the third consecutive week, and it became the first song ever to top both Adult R&B Airplay and Rap Airplay.

It has also reached No. 1 on Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay and Rhythmic Airplay, marking another impressive achievement for the artists.
Kendrick Lamar’s dominance in the top five is also worth noting. For six consecutive weeks, he has had three songs in the top five of the Hot 100: “Not Like Us” remains at No. 3, while “TV Off,” his collaboration with Lefty Gunplay, dips from No. 4 to No. 5.
This feat ties him with Drake for the most weeks spent tripling up in the top five among soloists. Only The Beatles have achieved this more, with eight weeks in total.

Further cementing the track’s enduring success, “Luther” maintains its No. 1 status for the 12th consecutive week on both the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts. This marks Lamar’s seventh No. 1 on each chart and SZA’s fourth—her first on the Hot Rap Songs chart.
“Luther” has already made a lasting impact, and with its strong chart performance and multi-platform dominance, it’s clear that Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s Luther Vandross-inspired hit is far from finished at the top.
