Nollywood actress Lala Akindoju is in mourning following the death of her father, Chief Williams Akindoju, who passed away at the age of 71.

The actress took to Instagram to share her grief, reflecting on the painful reality of starting 2024 with her father and ending the year without him.

In her emotional post, Lala wrote;

“Sometimes, you think you’re ready, but NOTHING prepares you for the loss of a PRESENT & LOVING parent like my daddy. Started the year with my daddy, ending it without my daddy.”

She also shared a memorial graphic in honor of her father, revealing that he passed away on December 20, 2024.

While the cause of death has not been disclosed, the loss has left a profound impact on Lala and her family.

The actress’s emotional post has since garnered an outpouring of sympathy from fans, friends, and colleagues in the entertainment industry, who have expressed their condolences in the comment section.

Lala Akindoju took to her Instagram page to announce the arrival of her second child and baby boy.
