Lil Uzi Vert was rushed to the hospital after needing medical assistance and was kept in the emergency room for hours.
On Monday afternoon (April 21), paramedics were on the scene responding to an EMS call made on behalf of a “sick person” in Lower Manhattan, TMZ reports. An eyewitness on the scene also told the outlet the “Money Longer” rapper was wheeled out of the lobby of a luxury condominium building on a gurney around 2:30 PM and loaded into the ambulance.
The source on the scene also confirmed Uzi’s longtime girlfriend JT, formerly of the City Girls, was present at the incident when he was being attended to. Although she was by his side, it is still unclear who made the initial call.

The “Just Wanna Rock” rapper was reportedly kept in the hospital overnight. It is still unclear what caused the rapper to fall ill.
Aside from the recent health scare, updates regarding what Lil Uzi has been up to have been relatively scarce. In his most recent Instagram post, he showed off his riches and moments from his working on new music in the studio. The post was quickly flooded with “Pray For Uzi” comments, as his fans flocked to the beloved Philly artist’s account to send encouragement during his recovery.
Uzi’s last full-length release was November 2024’s Eternal Atake 2. The 16-song body of work boasted a sole feature from Big Time Rush and housed hits like “Chill Bae,” “Space High,” and “Light Year (Practice).” The first installment of the series made landfall in 2020. More recently, Uzi was featured on two cuts from Playboi Carti’s MUSIC album, “TWIN TRIM” and “JUMPIN.”
