Machine Gun Kelly has taken umbrage with being snubbed from a “White Rapper” Mount Rushmore list and has decided to make his feelings known.
On Friday (April 11), a social media user uploaded a post naming the white Hip-Hop artists he feels should be included on an imaginary Mount Rushmore for white rappers, a topic that quickly went viral after stirring up debate.
The following day, an image of a faux Mount Rushmore featuring Eminem, Paul Wall, Russ, and the late Mac Miller (the original rappers proposed to be on the fictional monument) surfaced on social media.
The user who uploaded the graphic asked for the public’s thoughts on the chosen artists, leading to dozens of responses, with many in partial or total disagreement with the lineup.
While the majority of commenters had no issue with Eminem and Mac Miller being considered, some felt that Paul Wall and Russ were unworthy of being mentioned in the same regard, with others proposing that the legendary Beastie Boys be included alongside Em.
Other white rappers who received mentions included El-P, Action Bronson, Slug, Macklemore, Post Malone, Bubba Sparxx, G-Eazy, 3rd Bass, and more.

One rapper rap fans suggested for consideration was Machine Gun Kelly, who wholeheartedly agreed with the sentiment and expressed his thoughts in a social media post of his own on Sunday (April 13).
“Me not on the white rapper mt rushmore is blasphemy,” the Cleveland native wrote on X, accompanying the post with a clip of a freestyle he did alongside Million Dollaz Worth of Game cohosts Gillie Da Kid and Wallo last year.
MGK‘s self-appraisal received mixed reactions, with some deeming his declaration outlandish. Others backed him up, acknowledging his lyrical ability and longevity.

After breaking out in 2010 with his acclaimed Lace Up mixtape, MGK would ink a deal with Bad Boy, releasing several albums with the label, two of which reached Platinum certification, with four achieving Gold status.
His most recent album, Mainstream Sellout, was released in 2022. See Machine Gun Kelly’s X post below.
