Marcus Jordan was arrested earlier this week for cocaine possession, DUI, and resisting arrest, and more details have emerged. Footage of the 34-year-old’s arrest has surfaced online, and at one point, he can be heard telling the police, “I’m Michael Jordan‘s son.”
TMZ Sports obtained police body camera footage of the Tuesday morning (Feb. 4) situation, revealing that Jordan was found in a blue Lamborghini SUV with a woman at 1:14 a.m. They were stuck on train tracks and he unsuccessfully tried to get them off, only for the wheels to spin in place. The police requested he exit the vehicle, but Jordan was intent on getting them to help him out.
Per the video, Jordan gave signs of being intoxicated due to slurred speech and a lack of balance. The police then initiated patting him down, and as they got near his waist, he attempted to invoke his legendary father perhaps as a way to get out of any repercussions. “Bro, I’m Marcus Jordan. I’m Michael Jordan’s son,” he told the police. “I’m not doing anything wrong. I’m just trying to get home. And I made a wrong turn. OK?”
Marcus Jordan continued his rant, almost berating the police for trying to arrest him in this situation. “And, clearly, we would just like to get our car off of the f**king train tracks which we were not trying to be on,” he added. They eventually walked him away from the car, which he reminded them cost $300,000 and had him do some field sobriety tests after he finally admitted that he had some alcoholic beverages earlier in the evening.
Jordan failed the tests and the cops put him in handcuffs. “I believe you’ve had too much to drink tonight,” they said, and he replied saying he “disagreed with that.” Next, the police searched him and found a small bag of a white substance, which later tested positive for cocaine. The search infuriated Jordan, as at one point he told the police all they would find was a “big d**k and some big balls.”
He continued to try and fight what was inevitable as they tried to put him in the squad car. At one point, he told the police to “chill the f**k out” but eventually complied. They transported Jordan to a local jail where he was booked on three charges before eventually being released. Check out a fuller version of the body camera footage below.
Marcus Jordan’s arrest sheds light on a situation from 2024 where he was spotted sniffing a white substance in the south of France. It also adds some credence to his ex-girlfriend Larsa Pippen saying that he hid his drug use from her and frequently partied while they were together.
