Coachella weekend one was successfully completed and the three-day affair brought forth endless highlights, surprises, and reunions. Megan Thee Stallion gifted fans with a stellar set to remember as she took the stage on Sunday (April 13) just ahead of headliner Post Malone. She ran through her career-defining hits, showed off her refined stage presence, and most importantly, wowed the crowd with multiple surprise guests.

During her performance of “Plan B,” the Houston hottie welcomed the legendary Queen Latifah to the stage. The latter performed an expertly executed rendition of “U.N.I.T.Y,” her 1993 hit that confronts disrespect of women in society and the power of coming together. Many fans immediately recognized the weight of having the veteran rapper perform this cut with Meg, drawing comparisons between message found within their lyrics.

“QUEEN LATIFAH coming out during Plan B is soo intentional. Two women rappers, VERY similar messages, two different deliveries, sharing one stage, bridging generations. Telling men they gon respect women’s bodies & choices!! PERIOD. I could go on bout this for DAYS. #MEGCHELLA,” one person on X wrote.

The Traumazine rapper also brought out Victoria Monét to perform their 2024 collaboration “Spin.” The Megan track is playful and seductive, and the two performers matched the song’s vibe as things got steamy on stage. After Monét pulled off a cartwheel into a backflip, they swayed together closely while riding the beat and the “Alright” singer even wound up sitting on Hot Girl’s lap at one point. She closed off her guest slot with a performance of her pivotal hit “On My Mama.”

Ciara showed exactly why she’s been a successful pop girl for decades as she nailed her surprise appearance during Meg’s set. She ran out onto the stage as the crowd erupted in cheers and blessed fans with a performance of “Goodies” with her signature choreography. CiCi and Meg joined forces as the song turned into a mashup with “Roc Steady.”

After the “1, 2 Step” singer’s moment, she gave Megan a long hug, causing her to tear up with emotion. “I love you Meg and I’m so proud of you!” Ciara shouted before leaving.

Elsewhere on the Coachella 2025 lineup, fans enjoyed performances by Missy Elliott, Tyla, Mustard, GloRilla, Yeat, Charli xcx, and plenty more. Check out highlights from Megan Thee Stallion’s set above.
