Megan Thee Stallion has responded to fellow Texan Slim Thug‘s assertion that she must have a crush on him due to her dancing to two of his songs during her highly-discussed Coachella set last weekend.
During her weekend two set Sunday (April 20), the “Not My Fault” rapper, 30, addressed the “Like A Boss” rhymer before dancing to Mike Jones’ 2005 hit “Still Tippin’,” which featured the 6’6″ artist.
“And no Slim Thug, this don’t mean I want you. I just like your music, babe” she playfully told the crowd while addressing his claim. Check out the clip below.
Following Megan’s weekend one performance, Slim Thug, 44, took to a livestream with his fans, where he asserted his belief that his fellow Houstonian was crushing on him due to her playing both “Still Tippin’” and his track, “Thug From Around The Way.”
“Did ya’ll see the stallion dancing to ‘Thug From Around The Way’ and ‘Still Tippin’? If that ain’t a ‘Hey, I want you daddy’ call, I don’t know what is,” he declared at the time, adding, “So, I’m just waiting on my day. I’m just waiting for her to come to Houston to hit my line, ‘Hey, I’m in the town, pick me up.’ It’s only a matter of time at this point…I know she got a crush on me by this point, she just danced to two of my songs? I say I’m in there. I think I’m in there, what ya’ll think?”
In addition to showing love to her hometown’s biggest artists, Megan’s set consisted of cameos from Ciara, Queen Latifah, and a steamy session with Victoria Monét as they performed their duet, “Spin.” Check out the performance below.
