Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodu Blvck, has lauded music producer and Mavin Records boss, Michael Collins Ajereh (Don Jazzy), after he gifted him $10,000 in cash

The rapper shared this remarkable gesture during a recent radio interview, expressing his admiration for Don Jazzy’s originality and influence on the Nigerian music industry.

Odumodu Blvck described Don Jazzy as a talented music producer and also a figure of exceptional generosity.

He stated that Don Jazzy’s impact on both established and rising artistes is unmatched.

“When I went to meet him, he gave me a lot of money. Everywhere I go, I say he gave me $10,000 in cash. In the Nigerian music industry, there is no one as original as Don Jazzy,” Odumodu Blvck said during the interview.

He further explained how he and many other Nigerian artistes, have drawn inspiration from music stars like Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido, and Olamide.

However, he singled out Don Jazzy as a unique force in the industry, with contemporary artistes looking up to him for both guidance and support.

When asked why Don Jazzy gave him the money, Odumodu Blvck responded;

“Because he is the Don. Don no be for mouth.”

In addition to the monetary gift, Odumodu Blvck revealed that Don Jazzy also allowed him to retain all royalties from a song they collaborated on.
